Big Brothers

Jackson is a very sweet and attentive big brother. He wants to hold Carrigan all the time for "15 more minutes!" and he's very concerned when she cries. He likes to teach her things like shapes to help her calm down. Surprisingly, this seems to work most of the time. I think she likes the sound of his voice.

Thorin loves his new baby sister (he knows her name, but to him it's just baby sister). And he ALWAYS wants to hold her. After about two seconds, he's ready to give her back, but he never tires of asking to hold her for these short periods. He also likes to make sure she eats, and he's never far away with a comforting binky to put in her mouth.

Welcome baby Carrigan!

Carrigan Lee Harenberg born at 2:48 PM on Saturday, June 13th. She was 7 pounds 5 ounces and 20 inches long.

At the Temple

Nic and Heather were sealed in the Mesa temple on Saturday, March 21. It was a gorgeous day, and the temple grounds were beautiful.

Nic's Reception

We were able to take the family down to Arizona to be at Nic's wedding. Nic and Heather had their reception on Friday, March 20th. These are some of the reception pictures.

Lets go bowling!

We went out with the Bills family last night for some fun family bowling. The kids couldn't get enough! They thought it was the coolest when the ball knocked down some of the pins. They would turn around with huge smiles and their hands up in the air like they just did the greatest thing in the world. Adorable!

Leslie gets married.

My sister, Leslie, got engaged to her wonderful man, Lyndsay, just a few days before Jeremy's birthday, and with amazing speed they were married on February 28th! Of course, I forgot my camera, so these are just pictures of pictures until we get back her wedding cd.

Baby girl and all is well!

On January 19th we went in for our mid-pregnancy ultrasound where we found out, much to my delight because I had already gone out and bought a little dress, that we were having a girl! Most everything turned out fine, but there appeared to be a slight partition in baby girl's palate. I had to go back in for another ultrasound on February 13th to see if baby girl would be born with a cleft palate. Fortunately, whatever partition there was previously seems to have closed up and all is well!

Happy birthday Daddy (January 29th)!

So, we had a couple celebrations for Jeremy's birthday (the big 29!), but the only one I got pictures of was dinner with my family. In the latest McLachlan birthday fashion, we all went out to Texas Roadhouse. Jeremy won't like it, but I am posting his picture in the saddle!
