We're Pregnant!

Here are the first pics of our baby. Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to turn them, so I guess you'll just have to turn your head!

So, we're at 10-11 weeks. The ultra sound differed slightly from other calculations, but the tentative due date is June 11. This month baby developments:

Eyes and ears are in a critical time of growth. Facial features are forming.

The head is large, since the brain grows faster than the other organs.

Cartilage, skin, and muscles are starting to shape baby's body.

The umbilical cord has formed.

Fingers, toes, and fingernails are forming.

Stomach, liver, and kidneys are developing.

The heart is beating.

Baby will weigh about 1/2 to 1 ounce and be about 2 1/4 inches long.

Uncle Nic is back!

So, Nic finished his mission today! He gets to spend a day in Texas with his mom before returning home to Arizona. We get to see him for Thanksgiving though! These are the most recent photos I have of Nic, but don't worry! I will be taking lots of photos on the upcoming visit! Welcome back Nic!

Happy Birthday Jackson!

Jackson's birthday is on Tuesday, but we celebrated it last night and today. We took him to see Madagascar 2 last night (which he loved), and we got him some much needed new pants. Today we celebrated with cake, ice cream, and a few more presents at grandma's house.

Trick or Treat!

So, here we are all in costume. Yes, the hat I'm wearing is quite small. My witch's hat was inaccessable, so I borrowed one from Honey's costume last year (she's the dog). I don't think she minded. That wasn't one of her favorite costumes.

Jackson was a skeleton last year, but he wanted to be one again, so we let Thorin wear Jackson's old costume, and we bought a new one for Jackson. It was supposed to be a size bigger, but I flubbed and bought the exact same size! So, the costume is small on Jackson and big on Thorin, but they were both happy. We couldn't get Thorin to take his off! He loves to be just like his big brother.

Isn't Honey so cute?! We found this costume at Target and had to get it so she could match the boys. Notice her cute halloween leash. It has pumpkins and bats.

Trunk or Treat

Jeremy took the boys to our branch's annual trunk or treat on Thursday. They had a great time. The people in our branch are so awesome!

Cascade Springs

We listened to conference in the van while we took a drive up to Cascade Springs. Jackson was so excited to be going to the mountains and let us all know that it is fall because the leaves changed pretty colors and that this month is called October (thigns he learned in school). The scenery was beautiful. The clouds were just sitting on the tops of the mountains. It was amazing, and the boys just loved running across all the bridges and boardwalks.

In Remembrance...

It was dad's birthday a few days ago, so we took the boys to his grave because we want them to know who he is, the grandfather they won't get to meet in this life. He passed away 11 years ago. We miss him, we love him, and we'll see him again.

Camera man!

So, Jackson got a hold of my camera and had a little fun with a close-up of himself and several of Thorin. I think he's a professional in the making!

First day of school!

Congratulations to Jackson on his first day of school (was actually September 8th)! He is starting Pre-K at Sandcastle Academy Private School. And who better to be his teacher than...grandma!!

Thorin's Birthday!

Today is Thorin's birthday. I can't believe he used to be so small. Happy birthday big boy!
