Halloween 2010

As tradition dictates, we head out to Great-Grandpa and Grandma's house each Halloween to show off our costumes, eat a donut from Dick's, and go see the witch that lives down the street to see how many of the kids will run away screaming! This year, Jackson was a ninja, Thorin was a Lightning McQueen pit crew member, and Carrigan was a butterfly.

Scotty comes home!

After 2 years of faithful service in the London South mission, Elder Scott McLachlan has come home!! We are so glad to have Scotty back. His thoughtfulness and amazing personality were greatly missed. We are so proud of his good works and service!

Fireman's Park

Last summer it seemed like we were able to go to the park to play all the time. This summer with all the things going on, we never really had many chances to go out, so in an effort to make up for lost time, we sat down and scheduled a day to go to the park. Carrigan got to go down the slide alone for the first time, and she just couldn't get enough! Jackson was really protective over her and helped her the whole time we were there. What a good big brother!

Jeremy Ranch

Every year we get a chance to go to the condo in Jeremy Ranch, just outside of Park City. The pool is the favorite attraction, and while we did get to go to Park City and do some shopping, most of our time was spent in the pool.

1st Day of School

Jackson's first day as a first grader! We love our new school, and Jackson loves his teacher. His favorite part of school is (go figure) recess and lunch. Thorin is also starting school as a preschooler. He is currently homeschooled, but he's super excited for when he gets bigger and can go to Jackson's school with him.

Celtic Festival

Once again, as dictated by tradition, we headed out to a Celtic Festival to celebrate our Scottish heritage. This year we made the trip up to beautiful Cache Valley where we got to listen to the bands, shop, ride ponies, and ride a train. Amazing!

Sadly, yet again (I just can't win!), I have misplaced my camera. There are many activities we were not able to capture with pictures, but we hope you have enjoyed those we were able to take. We love our family and friends, and we're so glad we had the summer to spend time together!
